Tech Industry in the Classroom

Upcoming Learning Resources Training Sessions:

Cracking 1 Million Passwords with Python

This engaging lesson is a hit with high schools across Scotland. It combines software development and cyber security, and is suitable for learners S1-S4. At this training session, we’ll show you how to use the lesson in a classroom, and give you the chance to try it out. Afterwards you’ll get everything you need to run it with learners. You don’t need any experience of Python software development to take part. Join us and try out this amazing resource.

work with our young people

Digital technologies are crucial to so many aspects of our lives, and working with tech offers a huge variety of rewarding careers for those with the right digital skills.

As a technologist, you have a unique and "real-world" experience to share with our young people to inspire them to acquire these important skills. You can show them what your industry has to offer, and what it’s like to really work in tech, helping us to create the next generation of "digital humans".

And it’s exciting working with school pupils. You can add real value to their learning by sharing your industry experience, and don't worry if this is your first time engaging with schools as there is lots of support out there to help you deliver a great session (and during this time of virtual engagement, you can 'visit' even more schools and have an even bigger impact on the lives of pupils...and teachers!).

The likes of BJSS, CGI and Virgin Money have already been involved in the project. Hear what they have to say about their experience, along with testimonials from a couple of teachers, by clicking on the linked text or by visiting our case study page.
