Skoog Competition Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter is The Skills Development Scotland Co. Limited (“SDS”) whose registered office is at Monteith House, 11 George Square, Glasgow G2 1DY.

2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 8 years or over, except employees of SkoogMusic Ltd and SDS, their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. Only one entry per person is permitted. No entrant may win more than one prize.

4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

5. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are available via Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

6. Closing date for entry will be midnight GMT on 10 February 2020. After this date no further entries to the competition will be accepted, even if submitted.

7. The promoter accepts no responsibility for  entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail for whatever reason to reach the promoter by the relevant closing date/time. Proof of sending/submission, is not proof of receipt. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid. Entries received immediately become the property of the promoter. And are not returned.

8. The names of individuals and schools that share posts related to the competition and/or like any Twitter, Facebook and/or  LinkedIn page for SDS and/or SkoogMusic Ltd , will be collected by the promoter and entered into the two separate competition draws, one for individual entries and  one for school entries. 9.The prize draw will take place on 20 February 2020. The first 10 entries drawn at random from the competition for individuals, and the first 5 entries drawn at random from the competition for schools will be the winners. Competition organisers will then contact each winner to arrange prize delivery/collection.

10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as reasonably practicable by the promoter.

11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

12. The prizes are as follows:  a Skwitch for each individual winner, and a Skoog for each winning school.

13. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and the promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent or greater value, without giving notice.

14. Winners will be chosen, at random, by a representative from the SDS social media team running the Digital World campaign and website on or immediately after 20 February 2020.

15. Each winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Twitter/Facebook and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If any winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from that winner and pick a replacement winner in accordance with these rules.

16. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

17. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

18. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Scottish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.

19. Each winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry.

20. A list of each winner will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing the following address: hello@digitalworld.net

21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network.

23. The promoter has the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, and such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting them to our website.
